Work With Us

SteroidSafe is building the UK’s harm reduction infrastructure for anabolic steroid use. We work with gyms, needle exchanges, and other organisations who want to make a difference. If that’s you, get in touch.

Gyms

Steroid use is happening in your gym. Whether you acknowledge it or not, a significant proportion of your members are using. Ignoring it doesn’t make it go away. Partnering with us gives your members access to evidence-based harm reduction without putting your staff in an uncomfortable position.

We can provide your gym with printed harm reduction materials, QR codes linking directly to our compound guides and blood work interpreter, and guidance for staff on how to respond if a member discloses use. None of this requires your gym to endorse steroid use. It simply acknowledges reality and prioritises member safety.

What we offer gyms

  • Printed harm reduction materials for noticeboards and changing rooms
  • QR code posters linking to blood work, needle advice, and compound profiles
  • Staff guidance on responding to steroid disclosure without judgement
  • Co-branded content if you want to actively promote harm reduction
  • A direct line to SteroidSafe for any member who needs support

Needle Exchanges

80% of your clients are now steroid users. Most needle exchanges were designed around opiate use and don’t have the resources or expertise to support this population. We can help bridge that gap.

Steroid users who access needle exchanges are already taking a harm reduction step. They are reachable. But many leave with clean equipment and nothing else — no information on blood work, no guidance on injection technique, no understanding of the compounds they are using. We want to change that.

What we offer needle exchanges

  • Steroid-specific harm reduction leaflets to hand out alongside equipment
  • QR code cards linking to our injection safety guide, blood work interpreter, and compound profiles
  • Training materials for staff on the basics of anabolic steroid harm reduction
  • Referral pathway guidance for users presenting with steroid-related health concerns
  • Data sharing partnerships to help build the national prevalence picture
